Moto GP 2016 Event @ Sepang International Circuit

Just 4 weeks after the Malaysia F1 Grand Prix, another biggest international motorsports events which is MotoGP 2016 also was held at Sepang International Circuit(SIC) from 28 - 30 Oct 2016 to make for a high adrenaline October in Malaysia. Sepang International Circuit (SIC) also broke another crowd record at the Shell Malaysia Motorcycle Grand Prix 2016 that ended on 30 October, recording a total of 161,553 spectators this year. The spectator numbers surpassed last year’s record total of 150,563 spectators despite rainy weather affecting the entire three-day weekend.

As expected, this year Shell Malaysia Motorcycle Grand Prix 2016 even bigger and better, with passionate rivalry on the track and a spectacular carnival for passionate two-wheel motorsports enthusiasts off the track. With more than 80 booths, the Mega MotoGP Carnival offers just about everything a fan could want. The TOP Penang has joined Tourism Malaysia to promote local tourism and also increase the awareness about the newest icon of Penang that will opening soon on November. During this event, The TOP booth offered great deal of The TOP all park passes and cheaper ticket than normal price for other attraction. Many activities also was held to enliven this carnival such as Spin & Win and photo and autograph session with riders from Ajo Motorsport and Red Bull KTM Ajo. Both rider, Johann Zarco and Brad Binder are the 2016 Moto 2 and Moto 3 World Champion.
Congratulation to Andrea Dovizioso for taking victory in the Malaysian GP after dueling for the lead earlier in the race, Valentino Rossi from Movistar Yamaha MotoGP team. Congratulation also to all our Malaysian rider especially Hafizh Syahrin that he waved the Malaysia flag high as the best performing Malaysian competitor overall, finishing 5th in the race of Moto 2.
